The Game

Go with The Flo is an exciting educational board game that aims to demystify the experience of menstruation. Players move around the game board learning about the different phases of the menstrual cycle. Along the way, they encounter facts and myths about menstrual health, reproductive anatomy, and common menstrual experiences. The game encourages open discussion and destigmatizes the topic of menstruation. Players must navigate challenges like cramps and mood swings, as well as collectively gain resources to manage this experience effectively. The game is designed to equip players with a deeper understanding of the biological, socio-cultural, and psychological layers of this significant experience. Why You Should Go With The Flo Still taboo in many cultures, menstruation is often a subject of discomfort and embarrassment. There is serious cultural stigma and restrictive practices around menstruation in India. The cultural stigma gets translated as silence and most often menstruators lack vocabulary and platforms to discuss their concerns and anxieties. Stigma affects the self esteem and body image of young menstruators and can also interfere with their psychological well-being. Go with the Flo debunks the myths and shatters the sterotypes around menstruation. It gives language and voice to young menstruators. If you think this is an important project,
